Family Style Dining in the Restaurant

Restaurants, bring back the family style dining experience. It can be affordable not just for the operator but for the consumer. Offer a Family style menu with multiple items to choose from, or sets of items with different pricing. The one thing I miss about family style restaurants is the sharing of information and the passing of bowls and plates across the table.

  1. I love Lambert's Cafe' home of the throwed rolls! Remember when we went there as kids on the way to Arkansas to reunions? They have 3 locations, but I've been to the location in Sikeston, MO Good Times...good times....

Another favorite "Das Dutchman Essenhaus" located in Middlebury, IN. I've been there a few times and I believe we are going there in May! I CAN'T WAIT for some FRIED CHICKEN!!

Sorry, they are not closer to you. I've been to all of these restaurants and they do serve family style and are very well appreciated!

I wish I could find something here in Chicagoland, perhaps I could get some information at the farmer's markets that start up this spring! I hope you find some near you too!

    Love, Jules
